Eastview Children's Choir is more than singing songs... it's more than dressing up for a special program...
Eastview Children's Choir is a full-blown music ministry that begins at the very heart of knowing that music is a gift from our Lord and we are to "sing and make music in [our hearts] to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ" (Eph. 5:19-20).
We meet every Sunday evening from 6-7 in the auditorium. As we introduce a soulful hymn or contemporary song we dig into the lyrics, reference scripture, and make it a true offering unto our Lord. We layer the learning with song, instrumental, and theory while applying scripture. Our desire is to see each child take part in praise and worship and then make it an every day part of their lives.
We will make a musical offering every month or two at the beginning of our Sunday morning worship service.
"... and a little child shall lead them." Isaiah 11:6
